Our history

McAfee Standard Transmissions was the original name established in 1947. The shop built its reputation in the standard transmission industry, far and deep in the classic cars, big trucks, muscle cars, and truck fields. The original owners Mr. Clany and Mr. Forrest, mechanics for the air force, met in World War II and then, as soon they came back to America, started this business.

In 2016 this company was acquired by Glenda Araiza. Today, McAfee is owned by Drimbag, LLC y/o Mr. Diego Gastaminza and Ms. Glenda Araiza, located at 5723 Jensen Dr, Harris County, Houston, Texas, 77026.
